Before we add any new interventions, continue with business as usual. Collect ABC data to figure out why the behavior is happening and give a baseline level of where you are starting before you add any new strategies. ABC stands for antecedent, behavior, consequence. ABC data looks at the whole context of what is happening before and after a behavior. This information will give you some clues on why the behavior is happening so you can identify the best way to support the individual for positive behavior change.
