Staff training can be one of the hardest parts of the job of a special educator. If your team is having trouble implementing the behavior plan consistently, go back to step 1 of Behavior Skills Training. Sit down with your team and open up a discussion to possible tweaks or obstacles of the behavior plan. Also evaluate other competing contingencies, create a team mission statement to identify joint values, and have team members help in the FBA/BIP process to build up buy-in.
